As a Speech Pathologist I feel the need to carve out more explicit teaching opportunities rather than incidental ones which obviously we do daily.

I don’t home school but as a Speech Pathologist I always feel like I’d like to do extra explicit teaching activities particularly in regards to literacy. I also find weeks fly by and I whilst re read regularly, do incidental vocabulary work etc I feel more explicit practice would be beneficial.
